The role is responsible for defining the technical cyber strategy for a dedicated engineering delivery squad and steering the execution of complex security initiatives. Serving as the primary technical authority within the squad, this position bridges the gap between enterprise security architecture, senior leadership vision, and hands-on deployment. The successful candidate will drive technical excellence, maintain strict regulatory compliance alignment, and optimize squad velocity within a Tier 1 financial institution.Your responsibilities in this role include:Strategic Direction: Translate macro enterprise cyber security strategies into actionable technical roadmaps, architectural patterns, and engineering deliverables for the squadTechnical Authority: Serve as the ultimate technical decision-maker within the squad, ensuring all software, platform, and security engineering activities align with bank-wide architecture standardsDelivery Execution: Oversee the end-to-end technical delivery lifecycle, actively managing engineering risks, technical dependencies, and complex release schedulesSquad Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional squad of security engineers, architects, and analysts, optimizing performance, fostering collaboration, and driving engineering accountabilityStakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical interface for senior bank executives, enterprise architects, and risk committees, presenting technical solutions and delivery progressDeeplight Representation: Champion professional excellence, technical integrity, and consultative leadership across all client interactions, setting a benchmark for the broader teamCoaching and ManagementSenior leaders at DeepLight AI are responsible for delivering results and developing people.
